Privacy policy
This is a translation for your convenience. The German version is the legally binding one.
1. In brief
- This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking services.
- Fonts, images, videos and scripts are loaded exclusively from our own web space. No third-party content is embedded.
- We process personal data only where this is technically necessary to operate the website, or where you write to us using the contact form or by email.
2. Controller
The controller responsible for data processing on this website within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:
ST Analytics GmbH
Franziskanerstr. 9
81669 Munich
Germany
Phone: +49 173 3545204
Email: info@st-analytics.de
3. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich (owner: René Münnich), Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany. The servers are located in data centres in Germany. ALL-INKL processes data on our behalf; a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with ALL-INKL.
Each time a page is requested, your browser transmits data to the web server for technical reasons, and the server stores it in log files:
- IP address of the requesting device
- date and time of access
- address of the page or file requested
- the page visited before (referrer), if your browser transmits it
- browser type, browser version and operating system
- status code and amount of data transferred
This data is required to deliver the website and to ensure its stability and security. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in the secure and trouble-free operation of the website. The log files are stored only for as long as this purpose requires and are then deleted automatically. We do not combine them with other data.
4. Contact form and email
If you write to us using the contact form, we process the data you enter: name, email address, your message and, if provided, your phone number. The data is transmitted in encrypted form. The web server forwards your message by email to our mailbox at ALL-INKL and does not store it itself.
We use this data solely to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you give in the form. If your enquiry is aimed at concluding or performing a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR is an additional legal basis. The same applies if you write to us directly by email.
You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future; an informal message to info@st-analytics.de is sufficient.
To protect the form against misuse, the web server stores a non-reversible value (hash) of your IP address for no longer than 24 hours, in order to limit the number of messages per sender. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is protection against spam.
We delete your enquiry once it has been dealt with conclusively and no statutory retention obligations apply. We retain business correspondence in accordance with the periods required by commercial and tax law.
5. Preview videos and Rocket Database Toolkit
On the Tools page we show preview videos of our software tools. The videos are stored on our own web space and are loaded only when you click “Watch the video”. No data is transmitted to third parties in the process, and no cookies are set. When a video is requested, only the usual server log data arises (see Section 3).
The Rocket Database Toolkit is loaded as a file from our web space and then runs entirely in your browser. Your entries, filters and evaluations do not leave your device.
So that the toolkit starts in the chosen language, it saves your language choice in your browser’s local storage. This is not a cookie; the entry is not transmitted to us and contains no personal data. Storing it is necessary for the function you have requested (Section 25(2) no. 2 of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act, TDDDG). You can delete the entry at any time in your browser settings.
6. Links to other websites
Our website refers to third-party websites, for example to publications and to reference partners. Data is transmitted to the respective provider only when you click such a link. The provider’s privacy policy applies to data processing there.
7. Recipients and transfers to third countries
Apart from us, the only recipient of your data is ALL-INKL, our hosting and email provider, acting as our processor. ALL-INKL uses Neue Medien Münnich GmbH, Neusalza-Spremberg, Germany, as a sub-processor. Data is not transferred to countries outside the European Union or the European Economic Area. We do not pass your data on to other third parties unless we are legally obliged to do so.
8. Your rights
You have the following rights with regard to the personal data concerning you:
- access (Art. 15 GDPR)
- rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
- erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
- restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- objection to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR)
- withdrawal of consent with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR)
To exercise any of these rights, a message to info@st-analytics.de is sufficient.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht, BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.
9. No automated decision-making
We do not use automated decision-making or profiling.
10. Provision of data
You are under no legal or contractual obligation to provide us with personal data. However, we cannot answer your enquiry without the details marked as required in the contact form.
11. Changes to this privacy policy
We update this privacy policy when the website or the legal situation changes. The version published here applies.
